What Happens After Your Return Is Approved: Inspection Explained

From printing your slip to warehouse inspection: the steps, the criteria inspectors check, possible outcomes, and refund timelines.

Approval feels like the finish line — but one important step remains. Every approved return goes through a warehouse inspection before the final resolution. Here's exactly what happens, what we check, and how long it takes.

Every return travels the same path — receiving, inspection, then resolution.

Approval is not the final answer

When your return is approved, it means your request passed the first check and you're clear to send the parcel. Approval is not a guaranteed refund — the refund, replacement or credit is confirmed only after inspection. This protects everyone: it keeps the process fair and consistent.

Your part: send the parcel back

Download your documents

Once approved, the portal (status: slip ready) generates your return form and parcel slip. Print both — details in our [slip printing & courier guide](/guide/printing-return-slip-booking-courier).

Ship it back

You arrange and pay the return courier — unless the return is our fault (damage, defect, wrong or missing item), in which case we cover it.

Add your tracking number

Enter the courier's tracking number in the portal so both sides can follow the parcel.

Never ship before approval. Parcels sent without an approved RMA can't be matched and may be refused.

At the warehouse: receiving → inspecting

When your parcel arrives, its status moves to received, then inspecting. Here's what inspectors verify:

Track my return

Q: Does approval mean my refund is guaranteed?

No. Approval means your request passed the first check and you're clear to send the parcel. The refund, replacement or credit is confirmed only after the warehouse inspection.

Q: What do inspectors check?

Condition (unused, unaltered, undamaged beyond the claimed issue), completeness (all parts, accessories, manuals, tags, freebies), packaging (reasonably intact), and whether the item matches your claim and unboxing video.

Q: Who pays for the return courier?

You arrange and pay the return courier — unless the return is our fault (damage, defect, wrong or missing item), in which case we cover it.

Q: How long does an original-method refund take?

About 10–15 business days after approval. Bank and wallet processing times add on top, so allow the full window.

Q: What happens if my return fails inspection?

If the item arrives used, incomplete, or inconsistent with the claim, the return is rejected and you'll be told exactly why.
