Kids' electric vehicles
Charging, assembly and safety rules for ride-on EVs.
A ride-on is a small vehicle with a real battery. Treat it like one — here's the policy.
Age & weight limits
- Always follow your model's manual first. Rough guide: 6V: 1–3 years, ~20 kg · 12V: 3–6 years, ~30 kg · 24V: 5–8 years, ~40–50 kg.
- Overweight riders drain the battery fast and strain the motor — when in doubt, size up.
Charging rules
- First charge: 8–12 hours before the first ride.
- Recharge after every ride, even short ones; unplug when full — never leave the charger on for days.
- Charge indoors on a flat surface, away from flammables; never charge a swollen or damaged battery.
- Use only the supplied charger. Typical ride time: 45–90 minutes per full charge.
Assembly
- Most models need 20–40 minutes of adult assembly: wheels, seat and steering first; battery red to red, black to black; full charge, then a slow test run.
Safety rules
- Adult supervision always. Flat, smooth surfaces only — no roads, slopes, stairs or pools.
- Helmets recommended; one rider only (unless built for two); practice braking in an open area.
Storage
- Store indoors; top up the charge monthly if unused; wipe with a damp cloth; check wheels and screws regularly.
