Battery care for electronic toys

Installing, charging, storing and disposing of toy batteries safely.

Many of our most-loved toys — dancing octopuses, musical toys, interactive pets — run on batteries. A little care keeps them running longer and your children safe.

Storage

Keep batteries away from small children

Button-cell and small batteries are a severe ingestion hazard. Keep all batteries — new and used — away from children under 3, and ensure battery compartment screws are always fastened.

Disposal

Do not throw batteries in household trash, fire or water. Dispose of used batteries at a proper battery collection point where available.

A toy that will not switch on with fresh, correctly-installed batteries may be defective — start a return at our return portal within 3 days of delivery with a video showing the issue.

Q: Which batteries should I use in my toy?

Only the exact type and size recommended on the packaging, inserted with correct polarity. Never mix old and new batteries.

Q: Should I remove batteries when the toy is not in use?

Yes — if the toy will sit unused for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent leaking, which can permanently damage the toy.

Q: My toy is not working even with new batteries. What now?

Double-check polarity and that all batteries are fresh and identical. If it still will not work, it may be defective — start a return at our return portal within 3 days of delivery with a video of the issue.
